At Coldwell Banker Schneidmiller Realty, we believe that a strong community is built on the well-being of its youngest members. As part of our annual Charity Bingo fundraiser, we were incredibly proud to contribute a portion of the $12,000 raised to the Idaho Youth Ranch.
The Idaho Youth Ranch is more than just a local nonprofit; it is a lifeline for at-risk youth and families across the state. While many know them for their statewide network of thrift stores, their impact in North Idaho is deeply personal through programs like the Anchor House in Coeur d’Alene. This facility provides a safe, therapeutic environment for teenagers who are navigating difficult life circumstances, offering them the stability, counseling, and guidance they need to build a promising and self-sufficient future.
A Legacy of Hope and Healing
Since 1953, the Idaho Youth Ranch has been dedicated to the belief that every child deserves a promising future. Their approach is holistic, treating the “whole child” through emergency shelter, residential care, and specialized youth and family therapy. By providing job-readiness training and alternative education, they aren’t just solving immediate crises—they are breaking the cycle of trauma for generations to come. In North Idaho, their presence ensures that no child has to face their hardest days alone.
Strength in Local Partnership
This year’s donation was made possible by the incredible teamwork of our CBSR agents and our valued partners at Mountain West Bank. Through our “lively” bingo games at our Residential Meetings, we were able to turn a fun team-building event into a significant financial contribution for this vital organization. This partnership underscores our shared belief that local businesses have a responsibility to reinvest in the people and the place we call home.
